Facebook & Instagram Users

If you connected your Facebook or Instagram account to Kodah and would like us to delete the data we received through Meta's platforms, you can submit a request below or directly through your Facebook settings at Facebook App Settings. We will process your deletion request within 30 days.

What Data We Hold

When you use Kodah and connect social media accounts, we may store the following data:

  • Your account information (name, email address, profile data)
  • Social media OAuth access tokens for connected accounts
  • Content you created or scheduled through our platform (posts, captions, images)
  • Analytics data fetched from your connected social media accounts
  • Workspace settings and preferences
  • Billing information (stored securely with our payment processor)

How to Request Data Deletion

Option 1: Email Request

Send an email to our data deletion address. Include your account email and the platforms you want data removed for.

Option 2: Delete Your Account

Log in and delete your account from Settings. This will automatically remove all your data from our systems within 30 days.

What Happens After Your Request

We will confirm receipt of your deletion request within 48 hours via email.

Identity Verification
We may ask you to verify your identity to ensure we delete the correct account.

Data Deletion
We will delete your account data, including all social media tokens, content, and analytics data within 30 days.

Confirmation
You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.

Data We May Retain

Even after a deletion request, we may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • Financial records and transaction history (required for tax and legal compliance, up to 7 years)
  • Records of data deletion requests themselves
  • Aggregated, anonymized analytics data that cannot be traced back to you

Disconnect Without Full Deletion

If you only want to disconnect a specific social media platform without deleting your entire Kodah account, you can:

When you disconnect a platform, we immediately revoke and delete the associated access tokens. Historical analytics data associated with that account will be deleted within 30 days.
